The Ministry of Health sought public feedback in February/early March regarding a proposed
policy change to enable the retail sale of Health-Canada approved non-prescribed hearing aids
for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss. Currently, under provincial regulations, hearing
aids can only be dispensed by authorized regulated health professionals in BC.  CHHA BC and
CHHA Vancouver submitted the following response.
