Tim will provide the latest updates and insights to help you stay informed.

For over four decades, Tim has brought stories to life through sound, designing immersive audio experiences for IMAX films, museums, science centers, and themed attractions. In 2012, he founded Advanced Listening to bring his expertise to the hard-of-hearing community by designing and installing assistive listening systems throughout Canada.
Tim and his team at Advanced Listening invest considerable effort into researching and developing innovative technologies that improve communication. Their expertise is further shared through ongoing contributions to the Rick Hansen Foundation’s technical sub-committee.

    The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association, British Columbia Chapter is holding its Annual General Meeting on:

    This is an election year for CHHA-BC. Nominations are open for board positions.  Candidates must be members of CHHA BC and residents of British Columbia. Candidates need to provide a completed nomination form signed by two members in good standing. Candidates also need to provide a bio and a brief summary of the reason for their candidacy (200- 300 words). A form for nominators and the nominee is attached.

    Dear members and friends of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association-BC Chapter,

    CHHA-BC is posting for three positions – Operations Manager, Finance Coordinator and Program Coordinator – as listed on the following site: Indeed. Postings will remain active until the positions are filled.

    Meanwhile, we thank Henry Kutarna for serving as Operations Manager for close to five years; his resignation is for personal reasons which requires a significant amount of international travel. We also thank Shehana Mirza for her work as Program Coordinator for two years and wish her well in her relocation to Toronto with her family.  We also thank Finance Coordinator Ravi Kataria for close to a year and a half of service and congratulate him on his new full-time job.

    CHHA-BC board is committed to carrying on its important work and to filling vacant positions with qualified candidates motivated to implementing the vision of a hearing accessible society that fosters the full participation of persons with hearing loss. We urge interested and qualified persons to apply for the positions.
