Seniors are invited to join leading hearing loss advocates at an information session on living well with hearing loss on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 from 1:45 PM – 3:00 PM at the Shoal Centre, 10030 Resthaven Drive, Sidney, BC.

Hearing loss affects all areas of a person’s life and there many strategies that go beyond hearing aids to improve life quality and social interactions. The presentation will include information on assistive technology, community support, and communication skills. The speakers, Gael Hannan, Hearing Health Advocate/Author and Ruth Warick, President of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association-BC Chapter, will share their expertise and offer valuable tips and advice.

The event is sponsored by the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association-BC Chapter, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and improving the quality of life of people impacted by hearing loss and their family members. The event is offered free of charge, thanks to a grant from the New Horizons for Seniors Program of Employment and Social Development Canada.
