Short Profile Description

My life with hearing loss and my training has given me a deep understanding of the issues, challenges and frustrations that all people with hearing loss face, as well as the many strategies that can help us regain good communication. Talking with other people who share similar issues is an important step in moving forward.

Short Profile Description

I have worn hearing aids for about the past 16 years. I enjoy keeping up with the latest in hearing aid and assistive technology and sharing this information through my CHHA connections. Since becoming involved in CHHA, I have been fortunate to learn a lot from others with hearing loss through our sound advice workshops and meetings. I would be happy to share this knowledge with others.

Short Profile Description

I am a retired medical doctor, with no special training regarding hearing difficulties. I am hoping, with my own hearing experience, that I may be able help someone with hearing loss, as they explore or adapt, to various listening devices and situations.

Short Profile Description

My experiences accepting my own hearing loss, coping with communication challenges, and ultimately wearing bilateral hearing aids shape a big part of who I am today. I have learned that hearing impairment should not make a person any less capable of interacting with the world. I believe that through this experience I can empathize with others through this uniquely individual journey.
